Some of the defaced book covers are usually on display at the Islington Museum on St. John Street, and Donlon Books of Broadway Market have published a collection of them called ‘Malicious Damage’.

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember from a TV programme I saw on Joe Orton that they defaced those library books in the Essex Road branch, which is a short walk from Noel Road, where Orton and Halliwell shared a bedsit.

For Kristina as peter Hurley mention that shot was from a movie. The mans name is Oscar James. Formely appeared in East enders. The Lady her name escapes me but I do remember that she was from the states

The couple in the picture that Kristina refers to features actors from the film ‘Pressure’ (Horace Ove, 1975), now available on a BFI DVD. It is worth noting that this film is set in west London, and Holloway Road doesn’t feature.

Who are the black man and black woman in the pic directly below the two of Michael de Freitas with Lennon? It doesn’t really look like Michael X, so who is it, and where did the pic come from?
