There is more than meets the eye concerning the Krays. They were employed by the ‘Dark Powers’ that the Queen mentioned, whose job it is to protect the institution of monarchy by any means. They are a law unto themselves and even the royals don’t know who they are, although they do know they exist. Prince Philip was the ‘Man In the Mask’ at a sex orgy, frolicking with Christine Keeler and Mandy Rice-Davies alongside his best friend John Profumo.
They were filmed by a KGB agent in a blackmail attempt. When Profumo told them to get stuffed, the film was shown everywhere to journalists, the rest of the media, uncle Tom Cobbly and all.
But no one let on. That’s because the ‘Dark Powers’ paid the Krays handsomely to threaten anyone who thought of reporting it. They also made sure their first trial collapsed and should have been successful in the second one 5 years later, which saw the twins jailed for 30 years. But they hadn’t reckoned with the tenacity and ruthlessness of Detective Chief Superintendent ‘Nipper’ Read. Without him, the Krays reign of terror would have continued for years.
After they were sent down, a documentary film was immediately made called appropriately enough, ‘The Royal Family’. It’s never been seen shown since. It gave an inside look at the family life of the Queen and her adoring husband, supposedly behaving like any other family, albeit talking very posh. The accent was on Prince Philip playing the role of the devoted family man, having eyes for the Queen and no other, and totally devoted to his four children. In fact, their marriage had ended in the conventional sense in 1956. And the last of his two children weren’t even his ! Of course the British public aren’t allowed to know this and if they did, Monarchy might have ended years ago.

It was said that Les Holt (who was gay) like the Dr who killed him (Gordon Kells) was troubled with verruca vulgaris on his foot which the Dr operated and deliberately gave him an overdose of general/local anesthetic this he did in case he would collapse under police pressure about the activities he and the cat burgular were up to. Leslie Holt died from complication of pneumonia brought on by the anesthetic in 1979. As for Boothby he was being black mailed by ronnie kray who was going to spill the beans on their meetings, so Lord Boothby was compensated by the mirror for £40K to pay off Ronnie Kray. The Krays were disgusting pair of complete arseholes. The were loathed by “ordinary decent criminals” as psychopathic cowards, Jack the hat and the rest would have easily done them in a one on one fight, they were loathsome cowards, even their mum was a vile old bat acting like royalty because people were too afraid of that pair to say anything. Hope they somewhere nice and hot, and I don’t mean the Costa del crime!!

I´m 66 and lived in east london in the 60s and most people have a kray story and mine is i went to see The film Bonny and clyde ( mile End ) Odeon and a studabaker car pulled up an out stepped Reggiie and some girls ! iWatched it from the balcony and reggie and company where in front of me , though I had seen them around Crisp Street Market many times before they came infamous ! they ate free in ..a cafe I kind of protection and never thought they would become the villians they became though they had a real sinister look about them (Ronnies eyes ) well thats my east end story

how can someone that voilent get to walk away a free man but anyways he didn’t get away with it in the end. I think he should of gone done the same time as his brother Reggie
